Antonius der Große (* angeblich 251; † 356) war ein christlicher ägyptischer Mönch, Asket, Anachoret und Einsiedler. Er wird auch Antonius der Einsiedler, Antonius Eremita, Antonius Abbas (St. Antonius Abt) oder Antonius von Koma genannt. Oft wird er als „Vater der Mönche“ bezeichnet und ist der bekannteste und vermutlich erste Wüstenvater.
