Joseph Marie, Comte de Maistre (* 1. April 1753 in Chambéry; † 26. Februar 1821 in Turin) war ein savoyischer Staatsmann, Schriftsteller und politischer Philosoph, der die Grundlagen des Ancien Régime gegenüber den Ideen der Aufklärung und deren Folgen während der Französischen Revolution verteidigte. Damit war er ein bedeutender Vertreter der Gegenaufklärung.
