Pio von Pietrelcina, bekannter als Pater Pio (italienisch Padre Pio; * 25. Mai 1887 in Pietrelcina, Provinz Benevento, Kampanien, Königreich Italien als Francesco Forgione; † 23. September 1968 in San Giovanni Rotondo in der italienischen Provinz Foggia), war Kapuziner und Ordenspriester. Papst Johannes Paul II. sprach ihn 1999 selig und 2002 heilig. Um Pater Pio entwickelte sich bereits zu Lebzeiten ein Kult; er gilt als einer der beliebtesten Heiligen Italiens.
