Tô Lâm (* 19. Juli 1957 in Nghĩa Trụ, Hưng Yên, Nordvietnam) ist ein Politiker der Kommunistischen Partei Vietnams (KPV) und General. Seit dem 3. August 2024 ist er Generalsekretär der KPV; seit dem 7. April 2026 ist er zudem erneut auch Staatspräsident Vietnams (in Personalunion). Eine solche diktatorische Macht über Vietnam hatte zuvor nur Nguyen Phu Trong 2018 bis 2021. Das Amt des Präsidenten hatte er schon einmal inne vom 22. Mai 2024 bis zum 21. Oktober 2024. Zuvor war er von 2016 bis 2024 Minister für öffentliche Sicherheit. Seit Januar 2016 gehört er dem Politbüro des Zentralkomitees (ZK) der KPV an.
