François-Auguste-René Rodin [fʁɑ̃ˈswa oˈgyst ʁəˈne ʁɔˈdɛ̃] (* 12. November 1840 in Paris; † 17. November 1917 in Meudon) war ein französischer Bildhauer und Zeichner. Mit ihm begann das Zeitalter der modernen Plastik und Skulptur.
