Charles „Chuck“ Edward Anderson Berry (* 18. Oktober 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri; † 18. März 2017 in Wentzville, Missouri) war ein US-amerikanischer Sänger, Gitarrist, Poet, Komponist und ein Pionier des Rock ’n’ Roll. Er wurde 1985 in die Blues Hall of Fame und 1986 ebenso als erstes Mitglied in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen. Seine Vorbilder waren Nat King Cole, Louis Jordan, Muddy Waters und T-Bone Walker. Chuck Berry gilt als wichtiger Impulsgeber für die Entstehung der Beatmusik und als Erfinder des Duckwalks.
