Epaminondas, auch Epameinondas (altgriechisch Ἐπαμεινώνδᾱς Epameinṓndās; * um 418 v. Chr. in Theben; † 3. Juli 362 v. Chr. bei Mantineia) war ein griechischer Staatsmann und Feldherr. Er gilt als größter Staatsmann Thebens und entwickelte die sogenannte Schiefe Schlachtordnung.
