Louis-Ferdinand Céline [selin] (eigentlich Louis Ferdinand Auguste Destouches; * 27. Mai 1894 in Courbevoie, Département Seine; † 1. Juli 1961 in Meudon) war ein französischer Schriftsteller und promovierter Arzt. Bekannt wurde er 1932 durch den Roman Reise ans Ende der Nacht. Politisch belastet ist er durch seinen Antisemitismus und seine Kollaboration 1940–44 mit den deutschen Besatzern, was die Wertschätzung seines Werks in Frankreich bis heute nicht beeinträchtigt.
