John Wesley [dʒɒn ˈwɛsli] (* 17. Junijul. / 28. Juni 1703greg. in Epworth, North Lincolnshire, England; † 2. März 1791 in London) war ein englischer Erweckungsprediger, der auch in Nordamerika tätig war. Obwohl er und sein jüngerer Bruder Charles Wesley in der anglikanischen Kirche fest verankert waren, wurden sie mit ihrem Freund George Whitefield die Begründer der methodistischen Bewegung.
